Modelling excess congestion in England's highways
For the Mathsys master group project at Warwick, my group worked for Thales UK in predicting the duration of excess traffic congestion in the M6 and M11 motorways of England.
The group members were: Ayman Boustati, Álvaro Cabrejas, Laura Guzmán, Guillem Mosquera and me.
We were able to come up with several algorithms that could make very accurate predictions!!
The final report is here; and this is a poster we did at the beginning of the project.
